Underwater treadmill sessions that let your dog move against water resistance without loading painful joints. AURA’s signature service, and the one that surprises most first-time visitors.
Signature → 02Manual therapy and structured rehabilitation by qualified animal physiotherapists. Doris has been doing this since 2013; Noel brings a decade of specialist experience alongside her.
Core → 03Class IV therapeutic laser for pain, inflammation, and wound healing. Fast, non-invasive, and measurably effective; especially valuable alongside physio or post-surgical recovery.
Popular → 04Targeted soft tissue work for recovery, managing chronic tension, and maintenance between more intensive sessions.
Core → 05Multi-modal pain support for dogs and cats managing chronic or acute conditions alongside ongoing veterinary care.
Core → 06Alicia trained in vet clinics before joining AURA. She reads animals before she touches them, which is why sessions here run very differently from most grooming appointments.
Also available → 07A low-stress space for dogs while you’re at work. The same calm environment your dog already knows from rehab visits.
Also available →Not sure which service your dog needs? That’s a normal question.

Why AURA
Recovery happens faster when guards are down.
Animals heal slower when they’re anxious. It’s physiological: elevated cortisol sustains inflammation, and sustained inflammation slows tissue repair. We built the space at 57 Jalan Tua Kong to feel like a home rather than a clinic, and that’s not an aesthetic decision. It’s how the work lands.
When your dog walks in calm and stays calm through treatment, each session does more. The cleanliness, the quiet, the unhurried pace: those conditions are the treatment, not a backdrop to it.

AURA has been amazing for Poppy, who has been coming here regularly for hydrotherapy after undergoing TPLO surgery on her right leg in 2023. The sessions have really helped her regain strength and confidence, and she has been doing very well.
Doris and Noel are incredibly attentive, patient, and gentle with Poppy. They take the time to understand her needs and always ensure she is comfortable during each session. The environment is calm and soothing, which helps both the dog and the owner feel relaxed and at ease throughout the session.
Highly recommended for pet owners looking for professional, compassionate care in a peaceful setting.

AURA is a lifesaver!!
My doggo, Porsche, woke up one day in mid September w knuckling on his right back leg and his right hock (like the human’s ankle) seem to have lost strength to bear weight and its ability to place itself correctly on the ground! ( see photos w dates)
Remembered that i saw an ig post of AURA rehabilitating a doggo w hind leg issues! I was amazed at that doggo’s recovery! So my fam quickly reached out to AURA to set up an appointment to explore options!!
Doris was very thorough in examining and assessing Porsche! She also patiently answered all my questions (some were just my anxiety qns) and gave us advice on how to rehabilitate Porsche.
Porsche has been doing hydrotherapy (14 sessions so far) abt 2-3x in a week. He no longer knuckles (within 5 sessions). Right now, Porsche is progressing well- his right leg is able to bear weight and is able to place correctly when walking on the ground. His legs are getting stronger with each hydrotherapy session!
I feel confident in placing Porsche in the hands of Doris and Noel. They are animal lovers and have the best interest of all animals. They are also very experience in pet care and would advise me on how to better care for Porsche and my other dog at hm.
So, if you feel your pet needs physio help, hit AURA up, you will have no regrets!

Hachi has been going to AURA for weekly hydrotherapy to manage her hip pain, and we saw an improvement in her mobility after just a few sessions. She is more active and agile now which suggests she is feeling less pain. Doris and her team are gentle, patient and professional. They take time to understand her needs and never rush the process, which gives us a lot of peace of mind. The place itself feels like a pet spa: calm, spacious and relaxing, with chill music and luxurious shower facilities. AURA also offers other therapies like laser therapy to cater to different pet needs. They carry a nice range of treats and supplements including Antinol, and they even accept CDC vouchers for their services and products! They handle both animals and people with patience and kindness. We are very happy with the care Hachi receives and would highly recommend AURA 👍

Recommended by a friend to check out AURA as I was looking for a place to do assessment for my dog who has LP in both hind legs. Really glad I went to AURA and met Doris, she made us feel v comfortable and patiently answered all my questions with detailed explanations. The environment is super cozy and inviting, makes you wanna just chill there all day long! Signed up for hydrotherapy and so far it’s been helping my dog, plus you can tell Doris truly loves animals and is sincere in wanting to help them. Prices are also v reasonable compared to other rehab places, and the AURA team is friendly and helpful too! Highly recommended~ 👍🏻

I have followed Dory (the owner from AURA) around from clinic to clinic. I’m so happy she finally opened up her own rehab as she truly puts her heart and soul into every pet she sees! My 10 year old poodle has been seeing her for 3 years plus and after regular hydrotherapy lives a very happy and fulfilled life despite her bad hip and knees! I trust Dory with my pet’s life and know that she always does everything with love and care – would recommend her for everyone!

Know the difference
Why we use a treadmill, not a pool.
Most owners think swimming is the gold standard for rehab. It isn’t. A pool makes dogs swim, which reinforces the very compensation we’re trying to correct.
The treadmill works differently. That difference is the whole point of AURA.
Swimming Pool
Standard aquatic Generalised · Variable
-
Survival posture, not therapeutic postureDogs swim to stay afloat. The instinct to survive in water overrides any therapeutic movement pattern the therapist might be trying to encourage.
-
Compensation gets reinforced each sessionThe stronger side carries more load; the weaker side compensates less. Eight sessions in, the imbalance you came in to address has been practised hundreds of times.
-
Limited therapist control over gait and effortThe dog sets its own pace. The therapist has limited ability to influence which muscles engage, how weight distributes through joints, or how hard each session is.
-
Not suitable for every animalFearful animals, brachycephalic breeds, and dogs in early post-surgical stages often cannot use pool-based rehab safely or comfortably.
-
Nothing to document, nothing to trackThere are no measurable parameters to record. Progress is a verbal impression rather than data, and the report that reaches your vet reflects what the therapist remembers, not what was observed.
Underwater Treadmill
AURA method Controlled · Measurable
-
Feet stay on the floor. Your dog walks, not swims.Walking posture is preserved throughout. Natural gait, natural muscle recruitment. The water provides resistance and buoyancy without changing what the dog is actually doing.
-
Water level adjusts for each dog, each sessionHigher water means more buoyancy, less joint loading. Lower water means more weight through the joint. The therapist uses this to target exactly the tissue that needs work.
-
Systematic progress. Measurable outcomes.Water level, belt speed, session duration, and gait quality are recorded every visit. Progress is traceable, and your vet receives a structured report rather than a verbal summary.
-
Works for animals that can’t or won’t swimFearful animals, brachycephalic breeds, and dogs at any post-surgical stage can all use the treadmill safely. You do not need a dog who is comfortable in water.
-
Gait assessment in real timeThe transparent chamber walls allow the therapist to observe exactly how your dog loads each limb, distributes weight, and compensates during movement. That visual data directly shapes what happens in the next session.
Swimming has its place. For rehabilitation specifically, what changes outcomes is controlled movement, session-to-session consistency, and the ability to target recovering tissue without overloading it. That is what the treadmill is built for.

The Reading Room
Hydrotherapy
What to expect from your dog’s first underwater treadmill session
Most owners arrive nervous. The dog usually isn’t. Here’s what the first visit actually looks like, from check-in to the drive home.
IVDD
IVDD in Dachshunds: conservative management versus surgery
Surgery isn’t always the answer. When conservative management works, what it involves, and the questions worth asking your vet before deciding.
Physiotherapy
Dog physiotherapy in Singapore: what it involves and what to expect
Most owners can’t tell where the pain starts and where the dog’s learned compensation ends. The physio assessment figures that out first. What follows is 45 minutes of hands-on therapy built around the specific diagnosis, not a protocol.
Laser therapy
Laser therapy for dogs: how Class IV works and what it actually treats
Not all lasers are equal. Class IV penetrates deep enough to reach muscle, joint, and nerve tissue, which is why it’s used for arthritis, post-surgical swelling, and wound healing rather than surface-level inflammation. Eight to fifteen minutes per session, no sedation.
